Notes on photographing The Ghost Inside:

I’ve shot The Ghost Inside quite a few times (two times this summer at Warped Tour in fact), and each time I try to do something just a little different.  However, the light for this was badddddddddddddd.

Webster Hall has some weak, old lighting that is typically difficult to work with.  Add a small photo pit (with about 12 other photographers and 6 huge security guards), a lot of crowd surfers, and the inability for me to move in the pit AT ALL, and I had a rough time.  I was stuck stage left the entire first 3 songs, and couldn’t even grab a decent shot of Aaron Brooks this time around.

Luckily, my friends were able to secure me a spot upstairs that allowed me to get some cool overview shots that the band digs, so that’s cool at least.

Equipment:

Nikon D3 w/ 24-70 2.8
Nikon D600 w/ 80-200 2.8
