About Me

Chris Romano

Hi I’m Chris I take pictures.

A little over 10 years ago, I was working as a graphic designer, and was asked to set up a camera in manual mode.  At the time, I had no clue how to.

In a short period of time, I not only learned how to, but found I had a natural knack for photography.  Likely stemming from the hours of movies, videos games and TV that I consumed as a kid, where proper composition in many scenes takes a pivotal role.

Over time, experimenting with different genres of photography, I realized the photos I enjoyed taking the most and found the most fulfilling to share were those of other people.  It may sound super cliche and silly, but capturing super special once in a lifetime moments gives me a feeling far greater then finding a nice angle on a slice of pizza (although I do love me some pizza.)

Narrowing it down further, I deeply enjoy the challenge of capturing an event.  Even when every formality on the timeline is planned to a T, changes can happen instantly, and nailing a great shot is extremely gratifying.  Weddings, and my other photography passion, live music, are filled with these moments.

He’s a grown man.  Fishing’s not that hard.”  – Ron Swanson
